Acceptance

"Once we truly know that life is difficult - once we truly understand and accept it - then life is no longer difficult."
~ M. Scott Peck

Yes! Life can be complicated, unfair, hard and even miserable at times... but I believe that no matter what, we have to concentrate in the "good things" - in the positive. We have to be willing to accept what life throws at us and know that the trials and heartaches will pass - they're just part of life. If our actions, thoughts and intentions are positive - the outcome will be positive too. "Acceptance" is the key word. We have to learn to accept our circumstances and know that whether we can change them or not, we have to learn to live in gratefulness. We have to learn to appreciate all the important things in our life!

We're all given lessons to learn, life experiences to master, "cards to deal with;" but we have the freedom to choose our attitude towards life every day. We are free to create the life we want, no matter what our circumstances are. We can overcome the difficulties, the challenges, the problems; as long as we continue believing in ourselves and continue with faith and optimism, accepting the "tests" as just part of life. When we embrace "acceptance," life becomes more fulfilling, happy, exciting, purposeful and rewarding; especially when we learn to accept that all things happen for a reason - even when we don't understand what that reason is...

Let's keep an open mind and let's take it one day at a time. Let's make the right choices and let's simply accept that this is what life is - a challenge! It's up to us to make our life happy!

"Acceptance does not mean that you cannot take action to rectify the situation you are in. What is important is to drop resistance so that you let the moment be, and that any action arises from deeper awareness rather than from resistance. The vast majority of pain in a person's life comes from resistance to what is."
~ Eckhart Tolle
